Plain-language summary
BTC_MEDIA uses LinkedIn data only to create, publish, review, and measure authorized content for accounts and Pages managed by their administrators. We do not sell personal data, purchase follower lists, or use LinkedIn data for unrelated advertising.
1. Scope and controller
This policy applies to the BTC Media OpenClaw application associated with the verified BTC_MEDIA LinkedIn Page. It is operated by the authorized administrators of that Page for the media and community-management use case described here.
2. Information processed
- LinkedIn account and Page identifiers authorized through OAuth.
- Page roles required to confirm management authority.
- Content submitted for publication, including text and approved media.
- Post identifiers, publication status, comments, reactions, and aggregate metrics made available by LinkedIn.
- Operational records needed for security, error diagnosis, duplicate prevention, and auditability.
The application does not request passwords, payment-card data, wallet keys, exchange credentials, or private financial balances.
3. Purposes and legal basis
Information is processed to perform actions expressly authorized by an account or Page administrator: publishing approved content, monitoring status, responding to community activity, producing aggregate analytics, and maintaining security and compliance records.
4. Automated content
OpenClaw may help draft, schedule, or publish content. Automated content remains subject to editorial, provenance, and account-authorization controls. The application is not designed to send unsolicited messages, fabricate engagement, harvest profiles, automate connection requests, or evade LinkedIn limits.
5. Sharing and service providers
Data is shared only with LinkedIn as required to use its APIs and with infrastructure providers strictly necessary to operate the integration. We do not sell or rent LinkedIn member data or disclose it for independent third-party marketing.
6. Storage, security, and retention
Credentials are stored separately from application content and are not placed in public repositories. Access is limited to authorized operators. Records are retained only as long as needed for publishing, security, audit, and legal obligations, then deleted or anonymized.
7. Your choices and rights
You may revoke the integration, request access to applicable stored information, request correction or deletion, or object to processing where permitted by law. Revoking LinkedIn authorization prevents future API access but may not delete content already published on LinkedIn.

9. Changes
We may update this policy when the integration, applicable law, or LinkedIn requirements change. Material revisions will be identified by a new effective date.
